Since 1958, the Science and Engineering Fair of Houston (SEFH), Texas’ largest pre-collegiate STEM competition, has provided a preeminent stage for aspiring scientists and engineers (grades 6 – 12) to celebrate their work. The University of Houston STEM Center with Chevron, the presenting sponsor, has played an integral role in the longevity of the program and remains a proud sponsor of this prestigious event.

More than 200 volunteers across a spectrum of activities are needed. Volunteers need no specific qualifications but should be comfortable interacting with students.

We are looking for individuals who can help out with tasks such as registration, parking and unloading, setup, ribbon hanging, judging logistics, etc. Volunteer opportunities are available leading up to the Fair in a range of shifts. We encourage you to explore all of the volunteer opportunities and experience SEFH.

More information is available on our FAQ page.
